By Alistair Smyth – Portsmouth Branch Manager
Can you keep a secret?
Can you keep a secret? Because this one is TOP SECRET and, should this information fall into the wrong hands, it could prove to be catastrophic.
Portsmouth’s spy population
Witnesses in the Portsmouth area have reported sights of suspicious looking figures. You know the kind; they walk around in trench coats with the collar turned up and wide brimmed hats and dark sunglasses. Yes, you read that right. In recent weeks there has been a massive increase in the Spy population in Portsmouth, and (word has it), you can join them.
You can call me Agent Alistair (Codename: Citadel), and I am the Manager at Exciting Escapes’ new branch in Portsmouth. We are currently recruiting more new Agents to turn the tide against the bad guys. “Tell me more!” I hear you cry, and I shall indulge you! Let me tell you exactly what is involved in one of our Escape Rooms.
Portsmouth escape rooms
At our Portsmouth branch, we currently offer four room experiences for your expert Spy enjoyment. This begins with a quick briefing, before you will be immersed into life as one of our top Secret Agents. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to go back in time to the 20th century. To embark on a daring assignment to turn the tide against evil. The only drawback (unfortunately), is that to ensure your safety and the safety of the public, we will be required to lock you into the site. But I’m sure you can get out, right?
Can you help?
Well, that’s the intention. You will then emerge (hopefully!) victorious, and with another mission under your belt. Agents who have visited our other branches in Southampton and Basingstoke will know this process well, and with more missions expected in the coming months, we will be needing all hands on deck to ensure this nation’s safety. Could you be one of them?
In future, we will be using this space to relay to you confidential and top secret information pertaining to our new Branch as it develops. We have lots of exciting stuff coming up, such as new rooms and new adventures to meet all of your Spying requirements. But it is, of course, very much a hush-hush business, so do make sure this information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.
But for now, I’ll leave you with this question to ponder: Why is it called the Secret Service, if everyone knows about it!?
