exceeded expectations
A really awesome experience with Exciting Escapes. Two teams of work colleagues competed head to head in the twin rooms Banking on Trouble. Fascinating puzzles to solve, great atmosphere in the rooms and really friendly, welcoming hosts.

Brilliant and Fun
Another excellent experience. This time ‘Banking on Trouble’ set in 1939. Loved the way the puzzles and clues are done. Loved the period setting to make it feel more real and authentic. Will definitely do another one.

We have just completed the ‘Banking on Trouble’ double escape room. We did girls V boys and did the same room at the same time. The escape room was amazing, just the right level of difficulty and some brilliant clues!

Answers to your questions
FAQ section
01 How many players can take part in an escape room?
All missions can be played by two players. Some rooms allow up to six players, while others can host up to seven depending on the game.
02 Can we play Banking on Trouble head-to-head?
Yes. Two identical versions of this mission are available, allowing teams to compete side-by-side in a race to recover the stolen cash.
03 Can two players play an escape room?
Yes. All of our missions can be played by two players, although some challenges may feel easier with larger teams.
04 Do we need knowledge of the decade or theme to play the game?
Not at all. Everything you need to solve the mission is inside the room. A love for the era may make the experience even more fun, but no prior knowledge is required.
05 How long does the escape room experience last?
Each mission lasts 60 minutes. Including briefing and debriefing, most visits take around 75–90 minutes.
06 Will we receive hints during the game?
Yes. Your Game Master monitors the mission and can provide hints to keep your team moving if needed.
07 Are your escape rooms scary?
Most of our missions focus on adventure and puzzles rather than scares. The Voices We Hear is the only horror-themed experience and is strictly 16+.
08 Are your escape rooms physically demanding?
Most puzzles focus on observation and problem-solving. Some missions include light physical interaction such as crouching or searching the space.
09 Do your rooms contain flashing lights or sound effects?
Some missions use lighting or sound effects to enhance the atmosphere. If anyone in your group has sensitivities, please contact us before your visit.
10 Is Banking on Trouble good for corporate groups?
Yes. This mission is particularly popular for team building events and competitive groups because two teams can play simultaneously.
11 How does the head-to-head competition work?
Two teams enter identical escape rooms at the same time. The team that completes the mission first — or progresses the furthest before time runs out — wins the challenge.
12 Can large groups play Banking on Trouble together?
Yes. Groups can split into two teams and compete in the two identical bank heist missions.
