What is an ‘escape room’ experience?

It’s a team game set in a series of rooms full of puzzles and challenges where you get 60 minutes to finish. Think of it a bit like ‘the Crystal Maze’ from the ‘90s just with a lot more challenges and puzzles in each room!

How much does it cost?

From £18 to £30 per person depending on site, day and event.

Will we have other people in the room with us?

No, when you book with us the room is just for you and your friends or colleagues. We believe it is a much better experience for you this way.

Anyone. Young or old, friends or families, companies and teams. If you want to have some fun for an hour doing something different and challenging, with a great sense of accomplishment at the end, this is for you!

Do I need to have done one before?

No. We’ve got a great team who will meet you at the door, explain how it works, and then be available all through the game to help you when you need it.

For most of the rooms in Portsmouth that’s a no, definitely not. We’ve built this to be fun, not to scare you. There is one exception, the room called ‘The Voice We Hear’ which is scary as well as fun. With that room, we can control how scary so you can advise us on the day how scary you would like it to be.

A member of the team will talk you through how it works on the day, take you to the room, and then be available should you need help. Everything you need to play the game is in the room.
