Our availability for each game is shown live on the tickets section of our website, here.  If it says ‘Call for Availability’ it means we need to check we can arrange staffing for your booking so please call on 01256 322111

Our games are built for teens upwards, but younger players are welcome – and love them! For players 10-13 years old we just ask an adult accompanies them.  With at least 5 children the adult goes in free.  For players under 10, please call us on 01256 322111 so we can chat about how it can work.

All our branches are able to host larger groups. For groups of around 12 players we have at least one pair of identical games at each branch where you can race each other!  For larger groups, please see our Team Events section here.

You are welcome to play any of our min. 3 player games as a two, though they are tricky that way! You normally pay for 3 spaces, but we offer a discount to 2.5 spaces.  Please call us on 01256 322111 to take advantage of this offer.

Our games vary in size, with games from 2 to 8 players.  The specific capacity for each game can be found on our tickets pages.

There is a difficulty rating for each game on the tickets page. There are no easy games – the best for beginners would be a 3 difficulty rating.

We offer 10% off the price for Blue Light services (NHS10), Military (MIL10) and Carers (Care 10)

You can pay a deposit of 3 players to hold a room, and then pay the rest before the day for two or more games, or on the day for a single game

Most games at our Portsmouth and Croydon sites are wheelchair accessible, and we are often able to adjust the lighting, sound, and clues depending on a teams specific needs. Please call us on 01256 322111 to discuss your specific needs.

It costs an average of £20 per person to play. Hiring a whole game for just two people is more per person than, say, a 6 player game would be.  Costs for each game can be seen when selecting the room in our Tickets section.

Should circumstances change we are happy to move any booking once, with some notice. We arent able to make any changes to events on the day itself. Once you make a booking with us, in line with our T’s and C’s, you aren’t able to then cancel the booking. 

That’s no problem at all. You can carry a baby in a sling, or indeed bring a carrier in to many of the games. Toddlers can be tricky (as the games arent toddler-proofed) but please give us a call on 01256 322111 to discuss the best options.

No, once you book a game its just for you.

If you had to postpone a game due to covid, please just email us at enquiries@excitingescapes.co.uk with detail of the old booking and the date/time you want to rebook and we will move it and send you a confirmation its done.

We suggest to allow 90 minute, with 10-15 minutes before the game for the brief, up to 60 minutes in the experience, then 10-15 minutes at the end for a debrief and free team photo.
